Does Google use data from social sites in ranking? [video]

So today I found this video by GoogleWebmasterHelp about the way Google uses Twitter and Facebook links as a ranking signal.Enjoy!



I have a feeling that social media will become the number one tool in SEO this year.And for all those who use SEO outsourcing teams,it great, because such a team will not only take care of the social networking SEO but  they will do it right.Opting for an in-house team will never let them spend enough time on the social networks.
